What experience do you have?


I have twelve years experience in the financial services industry and have earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

What are your qualifications?

During my financial services career I have worked directly in

  • sales
  • relationship management
  • financial planning 

I have experience at large corporations and boutique firms; including a sub prime lender, boutique wealth management firms, a premier asset manager and serving the military. I have seen the best and the worst the industry has to offer. The vision for launching is to bring the best to you.

My formal education includes:

  • Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Foreign Languages
  • Master's of Business Administration in International Business
  • Professional Certification CFP® Certification Professional Education Program

I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2005 and have fulfilled (and often exceeded) my required 30 hours of Continuing Education every two years.

Licenses are required to sell products. Since does not sell products, they are not needed. In the past I had the following:

  • Insurance Maryland Life & Health
  • Securities Series 7, 63, 65 and 66

What financial planning services do you offer? offers an integrated financial planning experience. Members may create a comprehensive web-based financial plan or use our tools a la carte regarding financial planning "modules" relevant to their lives.  Virtually, we will help members understand their current financial situation and take steps to improve it. Our goal is to build a supportive online community of members working to achieve financial security and their dreams.

The financial services industry is highly regulated. plans to operate under a Securities and Exchange Commission exemption provided for firms who exclusively provide advice via the internet.

What is your approach to financial planning?  

Behavior modification. Attaining financial security and realizing your dreams requires good financial habits. Pay yourself first. Avoid debt.

What types of clients do you typically work with?

Any one can access the free content area of our website. Those who want a more robust experience can become a subscriber. The target audience is the mass market who is traditionally underserved by the financial services industry.

Will you be the only financial planner working with me?

We do not work directly with members. We provide conflict of interest-free resources to help subscribers make informed decisions regarding their financial futures.

How will I pay for your financial planning services?

Check or credit card.

How much do you typically charge?

The initial subscription is $200 and the annual renewal $100 thereafter. "Qualified” members earn a 10% credit on renewals for each new member they refer who remain a member for at least 6 months. Members become qualified upon joining by answering a set of questions. We must do this as it is a recommended best practice for referrals.

Could anyone besides me benefit from your recommendations?

Our business model endeavors to eliminate any conflict of interest. We are compensated solely by your membership fees. We do not accept advertising, nor commission, fees or any other compensation.

We are product agnostic. We are not compensated by any third party. We do have opinions and recommend the products of Vanguard due to their low-cost and client-centric approach.
